Alertpay is an internet payment service which is free to join. It allows members to send and receive money entirely online. Based in Canada, it was established on June 19, 2005. Although some people have alleged AlertPay is a scam or an accessory to those people running scams—this could not be further from the truth.

Like any bank or credit union, AlertPay simply allows for the holding, transfer, and processing of payments, they are not responsible for the decisions made by businessmen who use their platform to transfer their payments. The notion is similar to if one caught a drug dealer using a Ford truck, so you accused Ford of helping to smuggle drugs. There is no guaranteeing that the people or businesses who utilize Ford trucks (or AlertPay) will use them for legitimate and just purposes. As a member of AlertPay, a client can send payment to, or receive payment from, any other member.

The payments are made instantly and followed up with confirmation emails to keep the process secure and informed. If you want to send a payment to a non-member, they will receive an email informing them that they have received money via AlertPay and they will be asked to complete the free registration process in order to access their payment. You are also able to withdraw your money in a variety of ways, including bank transfers, checks, and e-gold.
